Monday (03.23)
Begin completing the square with notes and Completing the Square Stations where the students will put in order the steps of completing the square and describe each move.
Tuesday (03.24)
Continue practice #1 with completing the square to transform a standard form quadratic to a quadratic in vertex format. You will be able to identify the vertex as well as determine the solutions of the quadratics using this process.
Wednesday (03.25)
Half day today - 1st and 2nd hours are normal then you are going to stay with 3rd hour. Utilize this two hour block to catch up on missing work with Mrs. DeRuiter, Mrs. Oostindie, and myself by moving to our rooms when you need to. Double check the board for the topics that are currently due.
Thursday (03.26)
Increase the difficulty level with completing the square #2 that includes leading coefficients that are not 1.
Friday (03.27)
I'm gone today for some training. You will continue working on completing the square on an individual basis. Encourage students to use their resources that they have been gathering throughout the week.
